Overview
Between stillness and motion, the image changes state.
Sloe Motion is Bec Todd's moving-image practice. Projection, code and live processing set images in relation to sound, bodies, architecture and time. Each work begins with a rule, then observes what the image reveals, retains or loses as that rule repeats.
Observation / 01
A fixed point can make motion feel less stable.
Observation / 02
An image can remain after its source has gone.
Observation / 03
The same rule does not guarantee the same return.
